Description
Established as an urban conservation area in 1929, the 4,000 hectares of Rietvlei Nature Reserve offer a welcome respite from the bustling city.
With a landscape that morphs from open plains to undulating hills and the tributary streams which feed the Rietvlei Dam, the Reserve not only offers wonderful scenery but the opportunity to see some of South Africa’s famous wildlife, including cheetah, rhino, buffalo, hippo, zebra and springbok.
Enjoy a day under the warm African sun with Stephenson Adventures.
