Tours & Safaris
We offer both! You can book a private tour for a personalised experience or join one of our small group shared tours to explore with like-minded travellers.
Yes, we offer flexible tour packages and can create a personalised itinerary that caters to your specific interests, whether you are a solo traveler, a family, or a corporate group.
Inclusions vary by tour, but most of our day tours and safaris include pick-up and drop-off, a fully guided tour in an air-conditioned vehicle, a professional driver-guide, bottled water, and all entrance fees mentioned in the itinerary. Night tours often include dinner and a set number of drinks. Please check the specific tour page for exact details.
Most of our tour packages exclude lunch and additional beverages (like sodas and alcohol) unless specified. Optional activities, such as the Squatter Camp Tour in Soweto, are also not included in the main price.
Lunch is typically excluded from our day tours to give you the flexibility to choose your own meal preferences at the designated lunch stops. Our night tours, however, do include dinner and a specified number of drinks. The Pilanesberg Full Day Safari includes lunch.
We welcome families! Children aged 0-5 typically travel for free on most tours, and we offer reduced rates for children aged 6-11. Baby car seats are also available upon request. Please note that some tours, like the Lion Walk, have age and height restrictions for safety.

We use a fleet of air-conditioned vehicles to guarantee a smooth and comfortable ride. For our transfer services, we have options ranging from 4-seater sedans to 50-seater coaches to accommodate any group size.
We offer convenient pick-up and drop-off at your address, whether it's a hotel or a private residence, for all our tours. Our transfer services operate to and from JNB Airport, Johannesburg, and Pretoria to a wide range of destinations.
Yes, we have French, Spanish, and Portuguese-speaking guides available upon request for most of our tours. Please let us know your language preference when booking.
General Information
We generally recommend bringing:
Weather-appropriate clothing and comfortable shoes.
A hat, sunglasses, and high-SPF sunscreen.
A phone and/or camera with a power bank to capture memories.
For safaris, we also suggest neutral-colored clothing, binoculars, and insect repellent.
This is a very common question. You can advise that while tap water in major cities is generally safe to drink, it is often recommended for tourists to drink bottled water, which you provide on your tours.
Tourists are often unsure about tipping customs. A general guideline you could provide is that tipping between 10-15% of the bill is standard in restaurants. For guides, a discretionary tip is always appreciated for excellent service.
This is a practical question many international travelers have. You can inform guests that South Africa uses a 220/230 volt supply and typically requires a Type M (three large round prongs) plug adapter.
