DAY 1: CITY TOUR
The multiracial and multicultural nature and rich history of the Mother City awaits you. You will be thrilled by the different nationalities and local tribes living together in harmony.
The historical architecture like the Cape Dutch, Victorian and Georgian which has been diligently preserved and it will catch your attention amid skyscrapers and office blocks. Bo-Kaap adds to the religious diversity with its Islamic nature.
Stephenson Adventures will continue to take you on an exciting tour to the City Hall, the Castle of Good Hope and Company’s Garden. Did you know that the Company’s Garden is a public park which started off as Jan van Riebeek’s vegetable garden to feed the colony?
End the day on a literal high note at Signal hill overlooking a breath-taking scene of the beautiful Cape Town city.
Day 2: Safari
Not only is Cape Town known for its white sandy beaches, but its wildlife is pretty impressive as well.
After all you are still in Africa. A full day guided safari at Inverdoorn Game Reserve will be an exciting experience you never want to miss for anything.
You will encounter with the giraffe, lion, zebra, rhino, wildebeest, kudu and other animal species you’ve always seen on the big screen during this game drive.
Inverdoorn also has a lion and cheetah rehabilitation project to be visited.
DAY 3: PENINSULA TOUR
Enjoy a full day trip along the famous Cape Peninsula known for its ocean and mountain beauty. Stop at the charming fishing village of Hout Bay. This tour covers the most important highlight of the mythical meeting place of two oceans and Cape Point which is the most south-westerly tip of Africa.
Pass through the naval side of Simon’s Town, Kalk Bay, Constantia and end the day with a breath of fresh air at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens.
DAY 4: WINELANDS TOUR
This full day tour will leave you fully equipped with knowledge of wines from the vineyard to the bottle.
The Winelands tour is defined by three towns: Stellenbosch which is considered the “wine capital”, Paarl which has been the centre of Afrikaner culture since the 19th century and Franschhoek which owes its name to French Huguenots.
The wine estates await you to taste wine and cheese. The cherry on top is that you will get a chance to purchase wine at cellar prices.
DAY 5: CAPE TOWN
The marine life in Cape Town is exquisite. It defines the mother city therefore you can never safely say you know Cape Town without encountering the marine life.
On this tour you will witness the sprouting and breaching of the largest aquatic mammals, Southern right Whales, it must be noted that these are only seasonal.
Get a chance to marvel the dolphin’s acrobatic displays at a close range. You even have an option to swim alongside penguins and watch African penguins diving for fish to take back to their colony in Robben Island. Birdlife is not an exception as you can get to encounter different species of birds like gannets, cormorants and mighty black-browed albatross.
